Aston Martin Performance Exhausts
Your Aston Martin Exhaust can be completely replaced or, depending upon condition we can replace any problem sections:
- Aston Martin Manifold
- Aston Martin Front Downpipe
- Aston Martin Centre Section
- Aston Martin Rear silencer box
Aston Martin Silencer Or Back Box
Aston Martin Silencer Or Back Box normally needs replacing first.
Fuel combustion in your Aston Martin engine creates water vapour. As it passes along your Aston Martin's cold exhaust pipes it condenses back into liquid water.
Sulphur and Nitrogen Oxide gases passing through you Aston Martin's catalytic converter are absorbed by the water creating Acidic moisture that can attack the steel of your Aston Martin exhaust.
Your Aston Martin Silencer is the last part of the exhaust system to be heated and on short journeys may not heat up enough to eliminate the acidic condensation.
A problem with your Aston Martin backbox will give a loud roaring noise as the silencer ceases to be effective.
If your Aston Martin exhaust is rattling then a support bracket or rubber mount may have corroded or come loose. The rubber on your Aston Martin exhaust hanger can become brittle and snap leaving your Aston Martin exhaust system hanging loose.
Cracks in the exhaust pipes and failed gaskets, blockages all create unusual sounds so if you suspect that your exhaust is less than perfect it's best to have it checked.
