Audi A3 Performance Exhausts
Your Audi A3 Exhaust can be completely replaced or, depending upon condition we can replace any problem sections:

- Audi A3 Centre Section
- Audi A3 Rear silencer box
Audi A3 Silencer Or Back Box
Audi A3 Silencer Or Back Box normally needs replacing first.
Fuel combustion in your Audi A3 engine creates water vapour. As it passes along your Audi A3's cold exhaust pipes it condenses back into liquid water.
Sulphur and Nitrogen Oxide gases passing through you Audi A3's catalytic converter are absorbed by the water creating Acidic moisture that can attack the steel of your Audi A3 exhaust.
Your Audi A3 Silencer is the last part of the exhaust system to be heated and on short journeys may not heat up enough to eliminate the acidic condensation.
A problem with your Audi A3 backbox will give a loud roaring noise as the silencer ceases to be effective.
If your Audi A3 exhaust is rattling then a support bracket or rubber mount may have corroded or come loose. The rubber on your Audi A3 exhaust hanger can become brittle and snap leaving your Audi A3 exhaust system hanging loose.
Cracks in the exhaust pipes and failed gaskets, blockages all create unusual sounds so if you suspect that your exhaust is less than perfect it's best to have it checked.
