Chrysler Performance Exhausts
Your Chrysler Exhaust can be completely replaced or, depending upon condition we can replace any problem sections:
- Chrysler Manifold
- Chrysler Front Downpipe
- Chrysler Centre Section
- Chrysler Rear silencer box
Chrysler Silencer Or Back Box
Chrysler Silencer Or Back Box normally needs replacing first.
Fuel combustion in your Chrysler engine creates water vapour. As it passes along your Chrysler's cold exhaust pipes it condenses back into liquid water.
Sulphur and Nitrogen Oxide gases passing through you Chrysler's catalytic converter are absorbed by the water creating Acidic moisture that can attack the steel of your Chrysler exhaust.
Your Chrysler Silencer is the last part of the exhaust system to be heated and on short journeys may not heat up enough to eliminate the acidic condensation.
A problem with your Chrysler backbox will give a loud roaring noise as the silencer ceases to be effective.
If your Chrysler exhaust is rattling then a support bracket or rubber mount may have corroded or come loose. The rubber on your Chrysler exhaust hanger can become brittle and snap leaving your Chrysler exhaust system hanging loose.
Cracks in the exhaust pipes and failed gaskets, blockages all create unusual sounds so if you suspect that your exhaust is less than perfect it's best to have it checked.
