Ferrari Performance Exhausts
Your Ferrari Exhaust can be completely replaced or, depending upon condition we can replace any problem sections:
- Ferrari Manifold
- Ferrari Front Downpipe
- Ferrari Centre Section
- Ferrari Rear silencer box
Ferrari Silencer Or Back Box
Ferrari Silencer Or Back Box normally needs replacing first.
Fuel combustion in your Ferrari engine creates water vapour. As it passes along your Ferrari's cold exhaust pipes it condenses back into liquid water.
Sulphur and Nitrogen Oxide gases passing through you Ferrari's catalytic converter are absorbed by the water creating Acidic moisture that can attack the steel of your Ferrari exhaust.
Your Ferrari Silencer is the last part of the exhaust system to be heated and on short journeys may not heat up enough to eliminate the acidic condensation.
A problem with your Ferrari backbox will give a loud roaring noise as the silencer ceases to be effective.
If your Ferrari exhaust is rattling then a support bracket or rubber mount may have corroded or come loose. The rubber on your Ferrari exhaust hanger can become brittle and snap leaving your Ferrari exhaust system hanging loose.
Cracks in the exhaust pipes and failed gaskets, blockages all create unusual sounds so if you suspect that your exhaust is less than perfect it's best to have it checked.
