Fiat Performance Exhausts
Your Fiat Exhaust can be completely replaced or, depending upon condition we can replace any problem sections:
- Fiat Manifold
- Fiat Front Downpipe
- Fiat Centre Section
- Fiat Rear silencer box
Fiat Silencer Or Back Box
Fiat Silencer Or Back Box normally needs replacing first.
Fuel combustion in your Fiat engine creates water vapour. As it passes along your Fiat's cold exhaust pipes it condenses back into liquid water.
Sulphur and Nitrogen Oxide gases passing through you Fiat's catalytic converter are absorbed by the water creating Acidic moisture that can attack the steel of your Fiat exhaust.
Your Fiat Silencer is the last part of the exhaust system to be heated and on short journeys may not heat up enough to eliminate the acidic condensation.
A problem with your Fiat backbox will give a loud roaring noise as the silencer ceases to be effective.
If your Fiat exhaust is rattling then a support bracket or rubber mount may have corroded or come loose. The rubber on your Fiat exhaust hanger can become brittle and snap leaving your Fiat exhaust system hanging loose.
Cracks in the exhaust pipes and failed gaskets, blockages all create unusual sounds so if you suspect that your exhaust is less than perfect it's best to have it checked.
