Hyundai Performance Exhausts
Your Hyundai Exhaust can be completely replaced or, depending upon condition we can replace any problem sections:
- Hyundai Manifold
- Hyundai Front Downpipe
- Hyundai Centre Section
- Hyundai Rear silencer box
Hyundai Silencer Or Back Box
Hyundai Silencer Or Back Box normally needs replacing first.
Fuel combustion in your Hyundai engine creates water vapour. As it passes along your Hyundai's cold exhaust pipes it condenses back into liquid water.
Sulphur and Nitrogen Oxide gases passing through you Hyundai's catalytic converter are absorbed by the water creating Acidic moisture that can attack the steel of your Hyundai exhaust.
Your Hyundai Silencer is the last part of the exhaust system to be heated and on short journeys may not heat up enough to eliminate the acidic condensation.
A problem with your Hyundai backbox will give a loud roaring noise as the silencer ceases to be effective.
If your Hyundai exhaust is rattling then a support bracket or rubber mount may have corroded or come loose. The rubber on your Hyundai exhaust hanger can become brittle and snap leaving your Hyundai exhaust system hanging loose.
Cracks in the exhaust pipes and failed gaskets, blockages all create unusual sounds so if you suspect that your exhaust is less than perfect it's best to have it checked.
