Isuzu Performance Exhausts
Your Isuzu Exhaust can be completely replaced or, depending upon condition we can replace any problem sections:
- Isuzu Manifold
- Isuzu Front Downpipe
- Isuzu Centre Section
- Isuzu Rear silencer box
Isuzu Silencer Or Back Box
Isuzu Silencer Or Back Box normally needs replacing first.
Fuel combustion in your Isuzu engine creates water vapour. As it passes along your Isuzu's cold exhaust pipes it condenses back into liquid water.
Sulphur and Nitrogen Oxide gases passing through you Isuzu's catalytic converter are absorbed by the water creating Acidic moisture that can attack the steel of your Isuzu exhaust.
Your Isuzu Silencer is the last part of the exhaust system to be heated and on short journeys may not heat up enough to eliminate the acidic condensation.
A problem with your Isuzu backbox will give a loud roaring noise as the silencer ceases to be effective.
If your Isuzu exhaust is rattling then a support bracket or rubber mount may have corroded or come loose. The rubber on your Isuzu exhaust hanger can become brittle and snap leaving your Isuzu exhaust system hanging loose.
Cracks in the exhaust pipes and failed gaskets, blockages all create unusual sounds so if you suspect that your exhaust is less than perfect it's best to have it checked.
