Sakura Performance Exhausts
Your Sakura Exhaust can be completely replaced or, depending upon condition we can replace any problem sections:
- Sakura Manifold
- Sakura Front Downpipe
- Sakura Centre Section
- Sakura Rear silencer box
Sakura Silencer Or Back Box
Sakura Silencer Or Back Box normally needs replacing first.
Fuel combustion in your Sakura engine creates water vapour. As it passes along your Sakura's cold exhaust pipes it condenses back into liquid water.
Sulphur and Nitrogen Oxide gases passing through you Sakura's catalytic converter are absorbed by the water creating Acidic moisture that can attack the steel of your Sakura exhaust.
Your Sakura Silencer is the last part of the exhaust system to be heated and on short journeys may not heat up enough to eliminate the acidic condensation.
A problem with your Sakura backbox will give a loud roaring noise as the silencer ceases to be effective.
If your Sakura exhaust is rattling then a support bracket or rubber mount may have corroded or come loose. The rubber on your Sakura exhaust hanger can become brittle and snap leaving your Sakura exhaust system hanging loose.
Cracks in the exhaust pipes and failed gaskets, blockages all create unusual sounds so if you suspect that your exhaust is less than perfect it's best to have it checked.
