Suzuki Performance Exhausts
Your Suzuki Exhaust can be completely replaced or, depending upon condition we can replace any problem sections:
- Suzuki Manifold
- Suzuki Front Downpipe
- Suzuki Centre Section
- Suzuki Rear silencer box
Suzuki Silencer Or Back Box
Suzuki Silencer Or Back Box normally needs replacing first.
Fuel combustion in your Suzuki engine creates water vapour. As it passes along your Suzuki's cold exhaust pipes it condenses back into liquid water.
Sulphur and Nitrogen Oxide gases passing through you Suzuki's catalytic converter are absorbed by the water creating Acidic moisture that can attack the steel of your Suzuki exhaust.
Your Suzuki Silencer is the last part of the exhaust system to be heated and on short journeys may not heat up enough to eliminate the acidic condensation.
A problem with your Suzuki backbox will give a loud roaring noise as the silencer ceases to be effective.
If your Suzuki exhaust is rattling then a support bracket or rubber mount may have corroded or come loose. The rubber on your Suzuki exhaust hanger can become brittle and snap leaving your Suzuki exhaust system hanging loose.
Cracks in the exhaust pipes and failed gaskets, blockages all create unusual sounds so if you suspect that your exhaust is less than perfect it's best to have it checked.
