Toyota Performance Exhausts
Your Toyota Exhaust can be completely replaced or, depending upon condition we can replace any problem sections:
- Toyota Manifold
- Toyota Front Downpipe
- Toyota Centre Section
- Toyota Rear silencer box
Toyota Silencer Or Back Box
Toyota Silencer Or Back Box normally needs replacing first.
Fuel combustion in your Toyota engine creates water vapour. As it passes along your Toyota's cold exhaust pipes it condenses back into liquid water.
Sulphur and Nitrogen Oxide gases passing through you Toyota's catalytic converter are absorbed by the water creating Acidic moisture that can attack the steel of your Toyota exhaust.
Your Toyota Silencer is the last part of the exhaust system to be heated and on short journeys may not heat up enough to eliminate the acidic condensation.
A problem with your Toyota backbox will give a loud roaring noise as the silencer ceases to be effective.
If your Toyota exhaust is rattling then a support bracket or rubber mount may have corroded or come loose. The rubber on your Toyota exhaust hanger can become brittle and snap leaving your Toyota exhaust system hanging loose.
Cracks in the exhaust pipes and failed gaskets, blockages all create unusual sounds so if you suspect that your exhaust is less than perfect it's best to have it checked.
